Hi, we’re Jeff and Teresa Newcomb, proud owners of Caring Transitions of South St. Petersburg! With a combined background in counseling, real estate, healthcare, and business management, we are excited to bring our passion for helping others to seniors and families in our local community. Jeff has spent his career building trust and relationships in counseling, family business management, and real estate.

With a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Jeff has always been drawn to helping people through life’s most challenging transitions. Teresa, with over 30 years as a Dental Hygienist, has dedicated her career to providing personalized care, building lasting relationships with her patients, and always showing compassion in every interaction. Together, we’re bringing our combined experiences to create meaningful change for seniors and families in South St. Petersburg.

For us, Caring Transitions isn’t just a business—it’s a calling deeply rooted in our personal experiences. Jeff’s grandparents faced significant health challenges in their later years, including Alzheimer’s and vision loss, which made managing their transitions incredibly difficult for our family. These experiences taught us firsthand how emotional and overwhelming these moments can be, and they instilled in us a deep desire to be the support system that so many families need. After Jeff’s life-saving liver transplant just a couple of years ago, we realized how precious every moment is and decided to dedicate our time and skills to work that truly makes a difference.

As long-time residents of St. Petersburg, we love this vibrant community and feel honored to serve the families here. Whether it’s assisting with downsizing, decluttering, estate sales, or relocations, we’re here to provide stress-reducing, compassionate support tailored to each family’s unique needs. Every senior we work with brings a lifetime of stories, memories, and wisdom, and it’s our mission to honor those experiences while helping them move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
